Steel production is the most dynamic industry and one of key sectors for development global economy. The growing iron ore increases need its beneficiation granulating subsequent use in steel. As a result, number CO2 emissions harmful substances increases, which negatively affects both society environment. It important to study biomass pellets. Lignocellulosic renewable sustainable source heat energy that can mitigate climate change. efficiency using sunflower husks on combined machine “straight grate - rotary kiln annular cooler” partially replace natural gas pellets has been studied. influences alternative fuel technological indicators process quality have analyzed. was found combustion generates enough obtain with good strength. main remain at same level as pellet when gas.
